What is Spiritual Ascension?

I have been going through an incredibly challenging spiritual journey over the past few years, and I feel I have been asking some of the strangest questions I have ever asked. Generally, I like to talk to spiritual people about these topics because you can get some strange looks when you ask someone who has not been through this journey.

If you are going through a strange journey, where you are seeing synchronistic numbers repeatedly, having trouble sleeping, vivid and lucid dreams, feeling of not belonging, hypervigilance, random fatigue & headaches, energy blocks in your body and more, these signs could be trying to tell you that you are experiencing ascension. Of course, there could also be many other reasons for some of these signs and if you are unsure, you should always visit your GP to investigate further.

Spiritual ascension refers to the process of raising one’s consciousness to a higher level of awareness, often associated with spiritual growth and enlightenment. This journey may involve various practices such as meditation, yoga, prayer, or energy work. It requires a willingness to let go of old patterns and beliefs, and to embrace a more expansive and loving perspective on life.

As one progresses on the path of spiritual ascension, they may experience a range of physical, emotional, and mental shifts, including heightened intuition, a deeper connection to nature, and a greater sense of inner peace and purpose. Ultimately, spiritual ascension is a journey of self-discovery and connection with the divine, leading to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Why do people experience Spiritual Ascension?

People experience spiritual ascension for a variety of reasons. Some may feel a deep inner calling or longing for something greater than themselves, while others may be seeking relief from emotional pain or dissatisfaction with their current life circumstances. Many individuals are drawn to spiritual practices as a means of finding meaning and purpose in their lives, and to connect with a sense of higher purpose.

Additionally, as the world continues to face various challenges and crises, more people are turning to spiritual practices as a way of coping with stress, anxiety, and uncertainty. The desire for personal growth and healing is also a common motivation for embarking on a spiritual ascension journey.

Ultimately, the experience of spiritual ascension is a deeply personal and individual process that is unique to each person. It is a journey of self-discovery and growth that can bring greater peace, clarity, and fulfillment to one’s life.

What can I do to help my Spiritual Ascension journey?

There are many things you can do to help your spiritual ascension, and the path you choose will depend on your individual beliefs, values, and experiences. Here are some general practices that may be helpful:

  1. Cultivate mindfulness: Practice being present in the moment and observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Meditation, deep breathing, and mindful movement practices like yoga or tai chi can help.
  2. Connect with nature: Spend time in nature, whether it’s a walk in the park or a hike in the mountains. This can help you feel more grounded and connected to the earth. I find for me personally, fresh air, sun and water – anything in or by the water is what grounds me.
  3. Seek out community: Find like-minded individuals who share your spiritual beliefs and values. Joining a spiritual community or attending workshops or retreats can help you connect with others and deepen your understanding of your path.
  4. Practice self-care: Take care of your physical, emotional, and mental health through healthy eating, exercise, rest, and seeking support from professionals when needed.
  5. Learn and grow: Read books, listen to podcasts, or attend lectures or courses to deepen your knowledge and understanding of spirituality and your path.
  6. Practice gratitude: Cultivate an attitude of gratitude by focusing on the positive aspects of your life and expressing gratitude for them.
  7. Serve others: Help others in need through volunteer work or acts of kindness. This can help you feel more connected to others and to the world around you.

Remember, the journey of spiritual ascension is a lifelong process, and there is no one “right” way to do it. Trust your intuition and follow your heart to find the practices and tools that resonate with you. Also, if you are feeling ‘off’ or have symptoms of something that could be something other than spiritual ascension, always refer to your GP.

I hope this helps answer some of those questions around spiritual ascension.

Yours truly,
