Welcome to Petite Poetry. My name is Michelle Lee Cochrane. I am a 37 Year old Australian Girl, who has always enjoyed all forms of art & self expression – from writing, painting, drawing, dance, through to graphic design & poetry. I have worked in large corporate as a National Marketing Manager and Brand Manager for 20 years, and outside of this, have thoroughly enjoyed writing about all experiences in my life.
Poetry to me, is my form of self expression and something I love to share with the world. I began writing when I was 14. Mostly journals, soon to be followed by poetry around heart-break, general life, nature, fantasy, family, gratitude, love and the wonderful contrast, blessings and challenges life provides us with.
I love that Poetry can resonate with anyone, and in sharing my poetry with the world, I can connect with people afar – sharing messages of hope, faith & even sometimes simply knowing that someone has walked difficult paths and found light at the end of the tunnels.
